Greetings
Thank you for visiting our site.
About the Society: The emphasis of our society is the study of the putative class of subatomic particles called "tachyons", which are hypothetical particles predicted by implications of the Special Theory of Relativity, and which are believed to always travel faster than light, have reversed causality (negative time), and possess imaginary negative rest-masses, when viewed from standard frames of reference (i.e., ordinary 4-dimensional spacetime).
Open membership. Membership is totally free. There are no membership dues.

This site is sponsored by H.Kurt Richter, founder, Tachyonics Society of America.
Endorsements [ comments sent to the founder by e-mail ]: 1. From Mr. Dan Nvragnevr (an e-mail alias); "A close friend of mine from graduate school has serious anecdotal interest in similar subject matter, and I pointed him to your site as one of the better ones on the subject." [ Mr. Nvragnevr is an Electrical Engineer, with many years of experience in research and development. He has extensive verfiable expertise in applied engineering physics. ] 2. From Dr. Jerrold Gilbert; "Prior to encountering your Tachyonics Society group, I had read several books on cosmology, the nature of reality, and quantum physics. It is clear to me that you have invested a great deal of time and energy into formulating a new perspective and a new integration of reality. Your level of sophistication is usually found in books, journal articles, and professional conference presentations." [ Dr. Gilbert is currently a Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado, in Denver, CO. See "Feature Article #1", linked at upper left. ] 3. From Dr. S.C. Tiwari; "In your paper you propose an interesting hypothesis. You are right that Newtonian and Einsteinian theories do not fully explain why gravity causes attraction. It is surely an honor to receive your invitation to join the Tachyonics Society of America, as I find the group is open minded, and not driven by commerce." [ Dr. Tiwari is the founder of the Institute of Natural Philosophy in Varanasi, India, and the author of the book Superluminal Phenomena in Modern Perspective, from Rinton Press. He declined membership in our Society (citing time constraints), but has offered sincere philosophical support for our efforts. ]
Disclaimer: Please note that we are not affiliated with any other groups, commercial firms, electronics manufacturers, or other interests or organizations that use the words "Tachyon", "Tachyonic", or "Tachyonics" in their names, or in the names for various products advertised for sale on the open market. We are strictly an online think-tank, and use the word "Tachyonics" to indicate "the study of tachyons". We will often therefore, as a matter of clarification policy, distinguish between affilated and non-affiliated parties referenced from this web-site. No assumption should be made about any affiliation we may or may not have with interests or organizations not specifically mentioned as affiliated on this web-site, regardless of how such parties make use of tachyon-related terminology.

Part 1
For All New and Non-Member Visitors
1.1 New to the idea of tachyons, and want to know more? Click the "Tachyons" button at the upper left. Note: A proper understanding of tachyons requires some experience with mathematics and theoretical physics. We recommend the minimum education in mathematics and/or physics to be completion of at least the second year majoring in mathematics, physics, or engineering at an accredited 4-year university, or a 2-year Associate's Degree in one of these majors, or the equivalent knowledge (if self-taught). The most important areas of mathematics, in that respect, include college-level algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and differential equations. The most important areas of physics include classical physics, Einstein's theory of Special Relativity, electromagnetism, modern quantum mechanics, elementary particles, and string theory. Be aware that much of the content of this and our affiliated sites assumes interested readers already have, or are in the process of gaining, adequate knowledge in these subjects.
1.2 This Is A Free Internet Site! All educational and other content openly displayed at this site, and at any affiliated sites, and accessible directly online, is FREE of cost or obligation. Visitors at this site will not be required to provide any sensitive personal information, such as credit-card numbers, mailing addresses, etc. Note, however, that the Society can offer no such assurances regarding non-affiliated sites to which we have provided links from our pages. Literature and other offerings for sale advertised at this site will be labeled plainly as such, in context. Note, however, that the Society can assume no direct responsibility for advertising claims made at non-affiliated sites not controlled by the Society's Administrators. If you have an article, research paper, book, or other work or product that has something to do with tachyons, or with the math or physics related to them, and which you would like to submit for publication or advertising on this site, please submit a brief inquiry by email to TSAemail@TachyonicsSociety.com. You do not have to be a member to inquire, and there will be no obligation if your submission is approved.
1.3 Membership Benefits The primary membership benefit is the granting of free publication of articles and research papers at this site (and/or at affiliated sites, if desired), and of free advertising for published and/or unpublished works or special products; subject to the requirement that such works or products must at-least have something to do with tachyons, tachyonics, or superluminality, or with the math, physics, or engineering related to those topics. For more details, please inquire by email to TSAemail@TachyonicsSociety.com. Other benefits include: free posting to Forum message boards, interactive use of Chat Rooms, a single online source for information about tachyons, and possible discounts on works and products advertised at this site. Administrators (approved by the founder) are also given web-mail privileges, and have the option of setting up an email address with the "TachyonicsSociety.com" domain. Look for additional benefits as membership grows.
1.4 Applying for Membership The requirements for applying for membership privileges at this site are a name, a valid email address, a brief description of yourself, and an honest statement of purpose (your reasons for wanting to join). Membership is FREE. There are no dues. You may use a screen name instead of your real name, if desired, and your email address will NOT be made available to spammers or to anyone else. You will also be given the option of allowing for Forum posts to be sent to whatever email address you specify, if you wish. To apply for membership to the Tachyonics Society of America's Main Site (this Internet site), submit a request for membership by email using the following link; TSAemail@TachyonicsSociety.com Include a brief description of yourself (for example, a summary of important items in your resume'), along with the reasons you wish to join (please be serious; frivolous requests will be deleted). Do NOT include sensitive personal information (social-security number, street address, ...) in the request. Individuals who wish primarily to have articles and research papers published or advertised on this site may be asked to submit a sample of their work before a decision on acceptance for publication or advertising will be made. In all cases, judgment will be based on the quality of the work, not on the author's credentials. To submit advertising only, please include a complete example of the ad-copy you would like [ i.e., a paragraph about the work/item(s) you are advertising; the more detail the better ], and clearly designated as such in the body of the message. There is no limit on word-count (though a concise ad is best). Credentials are not required for members and/or non-members to publish or advertise for free on this Internet site. Your work(s)/offering(s) must stand on its/their own merits, and will be judged strictly on content/relevance. Members are required to conduct themselves honestly and ethically in all ways; with respect to each other and the public at-large. False or misleading advertising claims and literary plagiarism, for instance, shall not be tolerated. Willful violators of such rules will have their memberships revoked, will be prohibited from publishing or advertising on this site, and all possible legal issues will be submitted to the proper authorities for investigation (if necessary). Note: Memberships at our affiliated websites and to most affiliated discussion-groups are separate, site-specific memberships, and do not require you to wait for a notice of acceptance.
